*Responsibilities:*
- Assist the Head Chef in food preparation and handling, ensuring quality and consistency in all dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and uphold high standards of food production
- Oversee food service management, including plating, portion control, and presentation
- Manage inventory control to minimize waste and optimize cost-effectiveness
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards at all times
*Experience:*
- Proven experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting
- Strong background in culinary arts with expertise in cooking techniques and flavor profiles
- Previous experience supervising kitchen staff and leading by example
- Familiarity with inventory management, food production, and food service operations
- Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
*Skills:*
- Proficiency in fine dining cuisine and cooking methods to deliver high-quality dishes
- Excellent supervisory skills to effectively lead and motivate kitchen staff
- Knowledge of food preparation, food safety, and sanitation practices
