Position: Medical Collector- Profee
Pay: $20-23/hr (Based on Experience)
Job Type: Full-time
Hours: M-F 8-5, flexibility on start time

Job Description:

Will be working to clean up some old AR, working with all insurance companies, commercial and govt
-
Will have to work with claims denials and appeals and reaching out to the patients as well as insurance companies

Knowledgeable on EOB and deductibles as well as working the different payer websites
-
Will be writing appeals letters and sending them out to insurances for any appealed or denied claim
-
Familiarity with aging AR and comfortable working non-current AR
-
Will be working on the phone and in different payer systems on the computer
-
Athena is the system in which they operate so any familiarity with Athena will be a plus, but not a requirement
-
Need to be a multi-tasker and familiarity with the entire revenue cycle
