Welcome to Ava & The Bee, where we’re passionate about empowering wedding professionals with inclusive and results-driven marketing strategies. As an in-house marketing studio, we specialize in crafting bespoke marketing solutions that not only enhance our clients' online presence but also foster meaningful client relationships long before couples say 'I do.' At Ava & The Bee, integrity, equality, consistency, quality, balance, and open communication are at the core of everything we do.
If you're a creative and detail-oriented designer skilled in Showit and Adobe Suite, and you're eager to join a team dedicated to transforming strategies into stunning visuals, we invite you to explore our Brand and Website Designer role below!
Overview of the Brand and Website Designer Role
Ava & The Bee is seeking a creative and detail-oriented Brand and Web Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the CEO and team members to transform data-driven strategies into visually compelling designs. This role must have experience with Showit, Squarespace, and AdobeSuite, particularly Illustrator. Your responsibilities will encompass brand design, web design, and client interaction, ensuring cohesive and effective branding across multiple platforms. You'll play a key role in client kickoff and strategy calls, develop and present initial brand designs, and create responsive, visually stunning websites.
You Are Right For This Role If….
- You value integrity and understand the importance of being reliable and trustworthy. You can be entrusted with sensitive client information and handle it with the utmost discretion.
- You believe in equality and support LGBTQ+ rights, Black Lives Matter, and the principle that kindness is everything.
- You thrive in an environment that values consistency and quality. You are committed to delivering superior work on time, every time.
- You prioritize balance and understand the importance of a healthy work-life balance. You can manage your time effectively to ensure that you meet deadlines without sacrificing personal well-being.
- You excel in communication and can engage in open and flowing communication with clients and team members alike.
- You appreciate flexibility and can manage your work hours independently, as long as your tasks are completed on time.
- You are passionate about creativity and are eager to contribute innovative ideas and solutions to the team.
- You have a strong understanding of design aesthetics, particularly in the context of weddings or related industries such as interior design, hospitality, or tourism.
You Are Not Right For This Role If…
- You know that you truly don’t have the attention to detail we are looking for.
- You are looking for a role with a strict 9-to-5 schedule and struggle with managing your own time effectively.
- You prefer working in isolation and have difficulty engaging in collaborative environments where communication is key.
- You are uncomfortable with ambiguity and need rigid guidelines to complete tasks.
- You find it challenging to adapt to new tools and technologies and are resistant to continuous learning and professional development.
- You struggle to handle constructive feedback and see it as criticism rather than an opportunity for growth.
- You are uncomfortable with the creative process and prefer routine tasks over innovative problem-solving.
- You are not inclined to engage with diverse perspectives or support inclusive practices in the workplace.
- You find it difficult to juggle multiple projects at once and are easily overwhelmed by a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
