QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB:
Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
CERTIFICATION(S)/LICENSE(S):
Current certification in Ambulatory Care Nursing, preferred.
Valid Driver’s License
EDUCATIONAL LEVEL:
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, Master’s Degree of Nursing or related field required.
KNOWLEDGEABLE IN:
1. A clinician (qualified to provide patient care in his/her field of practice.)
2. A thorough understanding of the broad social, political and economic trends influencing the health and social care agenda.
3. Capability to understand and analyze complex issues, drawing on the breadth of data that needs to inform system wide deliberations and decision-making, and the wisdom to ensure that it is used ethically to balance competing priorities and make difficult decisions.
EQUIPMENT/MACHINES OPERATED:
COMPUTER PROGRAMS/SOFTWARE OPERATED
Computer- MS, Word, Power point, Excel, Publisher Data Entry and EPIC.
YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Minimum five (5) years of senior management experience.
Experience managing complex Ambulatory care setting
Experience with managing multiple Ambulatory sites.
Experience leading and managing in a complex union or management environment.
