The right candidate will be passionate about minding every little detail, is a top-notch communicator comfortable training new restaurant hires on service standards, and thrives when coordinating between various departments while streamlining procedures and maintaining positive morale.

THE TASK AT HAND:
Quality Control:
-
Be on property on a recurring basis to ensure food, beverage, service, and cleanliness standards are adhered to
-
Provide property level support with administering ongoing menu updates and service trainings
-
Provide property operations teams and corporate team with ongoing feedback on quality adherence and spearhead implementation of improvements/adjustments as needed.
-
Supports in Palisociety cultural and brand standard training for F&B and operations teams
-
Supports F&B corporate team in defining and refining the guest experience journeys, and with guest experience quality control
-
Support Managing Director of Restaurants and Managing Director of Culinary and the rest of the corporate F&B team with submitting menu updates as well as other collateral requests to graphics department as needed
-
Other duties as assigned
Marketing, Activations, Programming:
-
Support Directors of Restaurants in overseeing individual property active engagement with the communities in which they are located by designing a standardized approach to F&B events
-
Collaborates with events and marketing teams to develop and facilitate events that connect F&B programs, and thus hotel guests, to hotel locations
-
Works with Directors of Restaurants to develop and present promotional
-
activities related to all outlets and venues to help drive revenues
-
Continuously brainstorm and present ideas to implement promotional activities related to all outlets and venues to help drive revenues, including coordination of new partnerships and collaborations
-
Works alongside the Directors of Restaurants and the social media team to convey and story tell messaging for individual outlets
Training and Project Management:
-
Supports with designing and systematizing FOH and BOH service standards that prioritize quality control as well as employee professional development and reward programs
-
Assists Directors of Restaurants with administering ongoing menu updates and the development/ facilitation of staff training, assistance, and support to all property staff members, including new employees
-
Acts as a point of contact between the Managing Directors and internal teams, including restaurant managers, culinary staff, and corporate departments.

Supports in creating and maintaining restaurant and company level SOPs and guidelines for line-level staff as well as for restaurant managers.

Plans and administers food & beverage staff training programs including manager training, staff training, and position specific trainings.

Coordinates with suppliers, vendors, and contractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods and services.
-
Leads and coordinates food and beverage projects from inception to completion,
-
ensuring all objectives are met.
-
Communicates and manages detailed pre-opening project plans, including timelines, milestones, resources, and budgets
-
Compiles analysis on the financial results of outlets across the portfolio and advises the Directors of F&B on the analysis created.
-
Monitors project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or delays.
-
Conducts research and gathers data to support project planning and decision- making.
-
Facilitates project meetings, prepares status reports, and communicates updates
-
to stakeholders.

Ensures all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
-
Continuously evaluates project outcomes and implement improvements for future initiatives.

Preopening:

Assists Palisociety Dining Group with necessary tasks related to pre-opening; including but not limited to, research, branding, menu building, and budgeting
Commercial Acumen:

Demonstrate an understanding of the role and execute all expectations as outlined in the Job Description

Effectively work directly with, and coordinate between, all members of the executive, corporate, and management teams, as well as with employees at individual properties

Physical Requirements:

Ability to carry up to 40lbs

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

2 years of Food & Beverage experience

Proficiency in computer skills and Microsoft applications

Proficiency in digital design programs such as Photoshop and InDesign
