A typical day may include:
- Assisting in the planning and implementation of residents' social and recreational activities.
- Ensuring the implementation and documentation of individual treatment plans
· Providing training to residents in improving Assisted Daily Living (ADL) and independent living skills per their treatment plan
· Supporting, supervising and assisting clients in preparing all meals and snacks.
· Assisting residents in the care and organization of the living environment.
· Providing support to all residents with guidance from the house coordinator and your colleagues.
· Observing and documenting resident self-administration of medication per agency policy and training.
· Responsible for communicating with residents, staff, families, and any outside groups in a professional manner
· Opportunity for collaboration and participation in bi-weekly interdisciplinary staff meetings.
· Providing input on all residents’ care and abilities.
Pay: Union scale (commensurate with experience and education) We offer fully paid on -the-job training including CPR, First Aid and all NJ State licensing requirements.

Reports to: Assistant Director, Residential Services
Group Home openings:
P/T Sat and Sun open 8pm-8am, P/T Sat and Sun open 10am-8pm, P/T Sat and Sun 12noon to 10pm.
Education: At least one of the following: B. A. or B.S. Degree from an accredited College or University in a mental health related discipline. Two years of college plus two years related work or life experience. A high school diploma or equivalent plus four years or related work or life experience.
Other: A current valid driver's license.
Physical: Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate, treat, and monitor client needs, recognize clients, and maintain accurate records. Fine motor skills for legible written documentation and use of keyboard. Ability to work required hours and fulfill job requirements. Basic computer and word processing skills.
