Wedding season is right around the corner and we are looking for a experienced banquet staff to join our team!
Job Responsibilities include:
- Provide courteous service to our guests and be cordial to all team members
- Serving guests and setting the example for staff
- Lead the team by example setting the standard for excellence of service, team cooperation, and friendliness
- Interface with each couple, event host, and/or vendors to ensure a smooth event
- Assist with set-up and tear-down of ceremony site, changing suites, and reception space
- Oversee the operation and execution of banquets and catered events from the staging process through the conclusion and close-down of the event
- Interface with vendors throughout the event to ensure smooth coordination
- Works with staff towards ensuring the event space is clean and fresh
- Schedules all Banquet Servers, Bartenders, Dishwashers and staff
- Responsible for training service staff and ensuring high standards of service
- Other duties as directed by management, including deep cleaning of the banquet facility once a year
- Evaluate each banquet and make suggestions for improved service
This position involves significant hours during wedding season from April to November and on weekends.
Successful candidates will have a winning, team-oriented attitude, 2+ years of banquet/event experience, and excellent communication skills.
