Position Summary
The Digital Asset Specialist oversees the day-to-day management of our Digital Asset Management System (DAM) and manages data related to marketing and creative services workplans. This role involves close collaboration with internal departments and external resources to ensure effective collateral management, distribution, and data optimization across relevant channels for maximum utilization and visibility. Responsibilities also include optimizing data internally for Metrolina systems and external SEO efforts.
Job Description
- Digital Asset Management (DAM) and Product Database Management:
o Oversee the DAM system and product database.
o Analyze and cross-reference data points to report weekly product availability to the creative team.
o Maintain and update dashboards and reporting tools to document and track marketing/creative assets and timelines.
- Process Optimization and Collaboration: o Streamline processes and integrate multiple systems to enhance asset visibility and efficiency for Metrolina.
o Align marketing photography initiatives across departments (RD, IT, Production, Procurement, Shipping, and Sales).
o Collaborate with marketing retail managers to update and maintain retail customer marketing collateral.
- Support and Communication:
o Assist teams with training, best practices, and awareness of marketing tools.
o Manage asset requests and workflow within the DAM and project management tool.
o Provide monthly updates to the marketing team regarding data and content availability.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, analytics, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in managing and analyzing data.
- Familiar with data management and metadata processing within Digital Asset Management Systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills.
- Capable of coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in project management, including working with a Digital Asset Library.
Job Setting & Physical Demands
This position is primarily an indoor office environment for administrative duties, which may require the use of computers and standard office equipment. Fluency to read, write, and understand the English language is required. Must be able to work in all outdoor elements, including dust and allergens on occasion. Position requires long-term ability for standing, sitting, squatting, bending, reaching, and twisting on a regular basis to fulfill essential duties. Candidate must be able to lift up to 35 pounds unassisted, and up to 50 pounds assisted.
