Symetra has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr Product Analyst for Stop Loss!
About the role
In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Product Management to complete product strategy and analysis in support of Stop Loss Product Management needs. You will support product activities, including but not limited to business case rationalization for new products or strategies, formulation of product language in collaboration with internal partners, development and distribution of product training and support materials, implementation and launch planning, and review of ongoing processes supporting the product strategy.
What you will do
- Document, organize, and present multiple perspectives of complex information for decision making
- Represent Product department on various cross-functional projects, often in a lead role
- Analyze current product processes, and develop and implement action plans to improve
- Build business cases and analyze business requirements for product-related projects, may complete product configuration and conduct product testing on systems
- Research, analyze, document, and communicate competitor product and service updates.
- Act as liaison between other business unit analysts to provide comprehensive view of information and dependencies
- Lead small projects and initiatives

Compensation
Salary Range: $75,300 – $125,600 plus eligibility for annual bonus program
Your experience and skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 to 5-years’ experience with group insurance and Stop Loss strongly preferred or Financial Services industry experience
- Experience with insurance administration systems and quality assurance testing preferred
- Adept analysis skills pertaining to products with an ability to draw relevant conclusions and develop recommendations
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills especially when dealing with opposing priorities
- Proactive self-starter
- Proven project management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Adept written and verbal communication skills regardless of audience
- Comfortable conducting presentations remote and in-person
- Strong coaching, mentoring and training skills
- Some minimal travel required
