Responsibilities:
- Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the store runs smoothly
- Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns
- Train and supervise store staff, including conducting performance evaluations
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring new employees
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures
- Manage inventory levels and ensure products are stocked appropriately
- Assist in creating and implementing store policies and procedures
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
Experience:
- Previous experience as a retail clerk or assistant manager is preferred
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and staff
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and inventory management
- Proficient in using computer systems for administrative tasks
