A Technician II works under direct supervision and must be able to execute given work assignments. The Technician II is responsible for meeting or exceeding all company policies and procedures, state and federal laws regulations, and must have an unwavering commitment to environmental, safety and health for all employees and clients. In addition, the Technician II must be able to work with other employees and our customers and have a good understanding of the assigned project.

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, and/or EXPERIENCE
The Technician II position requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Industry experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.
This position requires the ability to understand basic math skills, read and interpret technical documents, read and understand procedures, perform all assigned duties and follow all safety procedures and requirements.
Understand Envent procedures for equipment operations and be able to pass the Technician II qualification test. This test may be temporarily deferred for a new hire being brought in as a Technician II with broad local industrial knowledge/experience, provided that the qualification test is passed prior to completion of the 6-month SSE program.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
The Technician II must have a current valid driver license from state of residency and valid proof of insurance. The candidate must be insurable by the Envent Corporation insurance provider. The candidate must have a valid TWIC card or, at minimum, be eligible to get a TWIC card, HASC, RSO or comparable refinery area training card. The candidate must be able to pass the company’s employee physical and comply with the company’s drug testing policy.

This job will require a mixture of primarily field and shop work and limited office work. While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to stand and walk in an office setting and/or on a field site and communicate on a telephone while meeting with others. The Employee frequently is required to sit at a desk, use fingers to operate a phone/computer keyboard, reach for papers or books with hands and arms, climb a ladder or balance on a roof, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl to operate or view equipment. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate but can be loud when working in the field.
Work environment is primarily field work. The Technician II will be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions. He or she will be in industrial plants which will expose them to potentially hazardous situations. He or she must have all necessary PPE and be prepared to use it as the situation dictates. The Technician II can be subjected to extreme heights and moving mechanical parts. Travel is required 20-70% depending on job needs and geographic location.
