A Field Service Technician will perform various repairs to (but not limited to) windows, exterior doors, interior doors, and trim. A knowledge of building materials, including installation, will be vital to this position’s success as well as a strong commitment to customer service.
Requirements:
- Valid NC drivers
- Strong knowledge of building materials and tools.
- Possess a strong work ethic and the ability to work under time constraints.
- Self-motivated with attention to detail
- Possess strong math skills and read tape measure.
- Ability to follow directions both written and verbal.
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb a ladder to heights up to 32.’
Responsibilities:
- Repair assigned service/warranty work.
- Analyzes jobsite prior to beginning a job to ensure that quality repairs can be done.
- Provide real time updates and feedback to the service/warranty coordinator
- Create and support a safe work environment on the job site to always protect the interest of the company.
- Ensures that customers are treated with the utmost respect and given the highest quality of workmanship. This is accomplished through timely completion of the job, attention to detail, following the company’s code of conduct and the ability to react to problems and complaints in a patient and understanding manner.
