We invest in on-the-job training for our VNG Technician position and successful candidates will typically begin conducting VNG tests during the third week of training. VNG or Videonystagmography testing is used when diagnosing disorders in patients exhibiting balance issues and/or dizziness. VNG testing utilizes equipment that evaluates eye movement as well as inner ear issues. An audiologist then utilizes the data from the VNG test to interpret the study and report their findings. The VNG Technician works independently and one-on-one with the patient therefore the successful candidate will have a desire to provide high-quality patient care, will have a high level of compassion and patience, and will exhibit excellent communication and customer service skills.
