You will support the National Nuclear Security Administration’s Technical Security Program with onsite management of the technical security activities at the national laboratories. This program is responsible for providing Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) services, inspections, and other duties as part of the protecting the mission of NNSA. This full-time position.

- Los Alamos National Labs (LANL) in Los Alamos, NM
- Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) in Northwest Las Vegas, NV
- Lawrence Livermore National Labs (LLNL) in Livermore, CA
What You Will Do
- You will perform onsite management of the TSCM Program at the national laboratory and serve as a Technical Security Technician.
- Maintain TSCM technician certification IAW DOE 470.6.
- Oversee and ensure the quality of Technical Security services provided to the customer.
- Forecast and schedule risk-based Technical Security operations according to DOE/NNSA policies and operations plans.
- Provide comprehensive, risk-based technical security advice, guidance, and support to federal customers.
- Prepare written correspondence and after-action reports to include TSCM inspection findings, recommendations reports, analytical reports, technical security awareness briefings, technical briefings, and vulnerability reports.
- Conduct analysis of complex technical, surveillance, counter-surveillance, surveillance detection or other technical vulnerabilities.
- Research, schedule, and make recommendations on advanced technical training for technical security staff, according to DOE and NNSA requirements.
- Ensure inventory and maintenance and calibration of TSCM Equipment. Catalog and digitally maintain all local TSP reporting, equipment records, operational plans, training records, and other correspondence and documentation related to local TSCM activities in a secure digital format.
- Ensure all TSCM Technicians maintain proficiency in accordance with the minimum standards set forth in DOE O 470.6.
What You Will Need
- Active DOE Q, or DoD Top Secret clearance, with ability to obtain and SCI (current SCI preferred).
- 12 years of experience, with at least 5 years performing instrumented TSCM services, and 3 years managing and directing instrumented TSCM services.
- Completion of Interagency Training Center (ITC) TSCM Fundamentals Course
