Job Description:
We're seeking a dynamic and creative General Manager to join our team and elevate patrons’ experience at La Neta Cocina y Louge. As the General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, and fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Responsibilities:
The General Manager position is the single point of accountability for the entire venue and is responsible for venue financials, venue profitability, hitting or exceeding venue goals, as well as motivating, coaching, and leading their team. In addition, the General Manager ensures the venue is running effectively and meeting all Company standards including; execution of service, guest interaction, atmosphere, and cleanliness. The position should be passionate about offering surpassed hospitality to guests and upholding the highest standards at the venue
- Staff Development: Continuously develop managerial and professional skills within the team.
- Guest Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional guest experiences by exceeding expectations and leading by example.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of products, answer queries, and inform guests of specials.
- Staff Standards: Enforce grooming and attire standards and ensure staff readiness for work.
- Guest Needs: Anticipate and accommodate guest needs proactively.
- Operating Standards: Develop and enforce operating standards, policies, and procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards in food, beverage, service quality, and cost control.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, manage, and evaluate team members.
- Succession Planning: Develop management team skills in line with company succession goals.
- Vendor Relationships: Evaluate and manage relationships with partners, contractors, and vendors.
- Financial Oversight: Monitor sales, expenses, budgets, and financial reporting.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with executive team and staff.
- Inventory Management: Ensure proper inventory levels, controls, and reconciliations.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Community Engagement: Participate in community events and uphold corporate social responsibility.
- Marketing: Collaborate on marketing plans, oversee advertising, and track market trends.
- Sales Goals: Set and achieve sales targets.
- Event Management: Ensure successful execution of private events, catering, and banquets.
- Cash Handling: Control cash and adhere to handling procedures.
- Maintenance: Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and proper functioning of equipment.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain required paperwork and reports.
- Performance Management: Conduct appraisals, conflict resolution, and coaching.
- Technical Production: Ensure smooth technical operations and create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Additional Responsibilities: Undertake assigned tasks beyond core duties
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- College degree preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- 21+ years of age
- Valid NV Alcohol Awareness card and NV Health Card
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer, and mixed cocktails
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to the Company standards
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of five to six (5-6) years of experience in the hospitality industry working in a high - volume venue
- Proficient in Windows MS Office, Open Table, Outlook
- Knowledge of POS and back office reporting systems, operations, fine dining procedures, and beverage service, special events and banquets
- Knowledge of profitability analysis and budgeting, cost of sales, payroll management, purchasing, receiving, inventories and cost controls as it applies to bar product
- Knowledge of state and local laws as it applies to liquor, labor, and health code regulations
SKILLS:
- Ability to work as a team, stay organized, handle various projects at one time, lead others, delegate
- Ability to provide incentives for staff to go above and beyond the expectations of their roles
- Ability to communicate effectively and assertively in the English language, both verbally and in writing with staff, clients, and the public
- Ability to speak to guests fluently regarding the food, beverage, and overall concept
- Ability to demonstrate and impose upon service staff the ability to service guests with utmost of care, service and excellence, utilizing the highest standards of service techniques
- Ability to follow-up and make accurate decisions

- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals
