We are looking for a VP of Finance for a client in Beverly Hills, CA. We are seeking a hands-on Vice President of Finance and Accounting to run day-to-day company financial operations and plan the financial strategy.
The candidate must be well-versed in all finance management aspects, from accounting to financial planning and investor relations from the healthcare provider side. The ideal candidate must be capable of managing all related activities as the leader of the Finance and Accounting team. The ideal candidate will thrive on being hands-on and overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. This function reports to the Chief Operation Officer.
**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Finance to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial activities of the organization, ensuring sound financial management and strategic planning. The candidate must have experience in a Healthcare setting.
**Duties:**
- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with company goals
- Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes
- Oversee accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
- Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making
- Monitor cash flow, investments, and financial performance
- Provide leadership in risk management and compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with executive team to drive business growth
**Qualifications:**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA preferred or CPA.
- Candidate must have at least 2-3 years of experience working in a Healthcare setting.
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of financial concepts, governmental accounting, and fiscal management
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in account analysis and financial reporting
- Ability to interpret profit loss statements and conduct financial analysis
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Experience in risk management and strategic planning
