Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To
- Exercise oversight and management of the procurement and inventory control process, ensuring meticulous tracking and efficient resource utilization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to accurately forecast demand, strategically plan procurement, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Conduct regular audits to reconcile physical inventory with system records, promptly identifying and rectifying any discrepancies.
- Liaise with suppliers and vendors to ensure punctual delivery of materials and promptly address any arising issues or delays.
- Vigilantly monitor inventory levels and proactively initiate reordering as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with authorized vendor partners, continuously evaluating vendor fit and providing input on new vendors and product lines.
- Create sourcing initiative to reduce risk, enable continuous cost reduction and align with company strategy on payment terms, cash targets, on time delivery and cost savings
- Collaborate closely with management to identify opportunities for process enhancement and implement industry best practices in procurement and inventory management.
- Skillfully manage supplier contracts, negotiate pricing terms, and diligently monitor compliance with contractual agreements.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
- Demonstrate proven experience (5-8 years) in procurement, inventory management, or a comparable role, preferably in a dynamic operational environment.
- Exhibit exceptional analytical acumen with a meticulous focus on detail and accuracy.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems is essential.
- Demonstrate a track record of effective negotiation and supplier relationship management.
- Possess a proactive mindset with a strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g. CSCP, CPM) is advantageous.
