The Center for Occupational & Environmental Medicine is going into its 46th year. We are a well-known practice that treats patients and staff with respect. We often see multiple members of families and our reach is regional and national in scope.
The New Patient Coordinator speaks to potential new patients by phone, email, live chat, and text. Your role is to provide information that answers questions in an effective manner and makes the person feel confident they have reached out to the right practice. Sharing our competency, caring, and compassion while communicating clearly and effectively is your goal in this role.
Successful outcomes result in either booking a new patient appointment or beginning the education cycle with the sharing of information about the practice, staff, and doctors who work here.
Potential new patients appreciate someone who is a good listener and answers questions accurately and thoroughly. You will need to learn about the various services offered and be able to speak of them in a positive and encouraging manner.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and self-motivation are keys to success in this role.
This is strictly an office-based position in a non-smoking environment. It helps to be health-oriented yourself when assisting others with selecting an appropriate healthcare facility.
Base compensation with opportunities for increases and bonuses reflective of your success in the performance of your duties.
Hours are 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. Monday through Friday with a 1 hour lunch break in between.
You are paid for 40 hours a week but only work 35 hours!
