Job Overview:
Performs accounting functions and clerical tasks related to the efficient processing and maintenance of accounts payable, job cost tracking, and customer invoicing transactions. Requires general accounting responsibilities including journal entries and account reconciliations. Codes invoices, vouchers, expense reports, etc., with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into the financial system. Responsible for assessing expenses compared to contract agreement and the administrative function of the TRACK (or equivalent customer timekeeping) system, data entry and cost control practices.
Responsibilities:
- Reviews and corrects discrepancies on daily information forms in Asset Voice, and within the TRACK CMP system.
- Responsible for the maintenance and data in the TRACK CMP (or equivalent customer timekeeping) system.
- Verify daily allocation and authorization from TRACK data and related timekeeping.
- Review and modify TRACK work processes as needed.
- Assist with collections to ensure they stay within forecast days outstanding.
- Assist with management report and analysis.
- Process job budgets and compare actual cost to estimates and analyze variances.
- Reconciles open purchase orders at month-end closings.
- Backup for weekly check run as a backup
- Assists with employee expense reports and verify receipts, completeness, and accuracy.
- Creates new jobs in accounting system and enter the associated budget
- Reconciles Third Party charges to ensure completely invoiced to customer
- Updates/reconciles daily cost sheets for active jobs.
- Prepares, verifies, and controls the entering of journal entries to the general ledger.
- Provides financial support to Controller.
- Provides backup support to other members on the accounting team.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance related field plus two (2) years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of two years of relevant accounting experience
- Must have strong problem solving skills and Advanced proficiency in Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables, V-Lookup)
- Strongly prefer to have experience with TRACK or other timekeeping software and the administrative aspects.
- Demonstrated ability to read, understand, and interpret contracts and contractual agreements.
- Understanding auditing principles.
- Strong experience with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and General Ledger.
- Must be a self-starter with attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and meet short deadlines.
- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess multiple options and to identify the best choice to serve a specified goal.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- The preferred candidate will have industrial services related accounting experience.

Pay: $59,653.15 - $71,840.35 per year
