Private Duty Nurse

Duties:
- Evaluate and treat clients based on their specific medical requirements under the supervision of an RN or Clinical Manager.
- Ensure continuity of care and address the emotional needs of clients and their families.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness in meeting clients' psychosocial needs.
- Uphold client rights and responsibilities while making informed nursing judgments.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, ensuring proper management of client services.
- Competently utilize equipment and communicate relevant information following agency policies.
- Monitor clients' physical, emotional, and mental status, promptly reporting any changes to appropriate personnel.
- Document all communication with clients, families, and healthcare providers to maintain continuity of care.
- Foster relationships with clients to encourage compliance with care plans and enhance client safety.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and shift reports in accordance with agency guidelines.
- Adhere strictly to infection control policies, safety measures, and HIPAA regulations.
Skills:
- Active, Unencumbered Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse license.
- CPR Certification.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance coverage.
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate effective decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in utilizing technology/computerized systems.
- Bilingual proficiency is preferred but not required.
