PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Work in the interesting and complex world of corporate restructuring and learn from one of the top administrative-support providers in the country. We are currently looking for bright and ambitious individuals to fill the position of Bankruptcy Consultant. As a Bankruptcy Consultant, you will work hand-in-hand with lawyers, financial advisors and court employees to help administer large corporate Chapter 11 reorganization cases.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
Interact and provide service for clients, clients’ counsel and other professionals
Data gathering and management of databases
Maintain service lists of creditors and special parties
Prepare Schedules of Assets and Liabilities and Statement of Financial Affairs
Coordinate large scale mailings including preparation of affidavits of service
Perform review and reconciliation of Proofs of Claim
Manage case dockets and update Verita public access websites as documents are filed with the court
Review contracts
Other duties or tasks as assigned by management. May be asked to work overtime and stay after regular work hours

Preferred Qualifications
JD, Paralegal, or legal experience.
One to two years in consulting or professional client services in corporate bankruptcy or related industries including, but not limited to, financial restructuring, claims and noticing is also a plus.
