Authority & Supervision:
The Receptionist serves as the primary point of contact for customers visiting our dispensary, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer experience. The Receptionist plays a crucial role in maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring efficient operations at the reception area. If the store manager is not on duty, this position reports to the assistant store manager or team leads. This position does not supervise any position.
Personnel Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome customers as they enter the dispensary, always ensuring a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Provide assistance with product inquiries and other customer requests as needed.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries promptly and courteously. Relay messages accurately and ensure effective communication with other team members.
- Process customer transactions accurately, handling cash payments securely. Verify customer identification and medical cannabis cards in compliance with state regulations.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the reception area, including monitoring inventory levels of office supplies.
- Collaborate with budtenders and other team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Continued education of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods
- In depth knowledge of all products carried in store
- Reports directly to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, and Team Leads
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Hold a valid Facility Agent Card with Arizona Department of Health Services
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in hospitality or customer service preferred.
- Previous experience in a customer service or receptionist role preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask effectively.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Office and experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems preferred.
- Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods is desirable but not required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.50 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
