Job Title: MRI Imaging Technician Assistant (Non-Certified)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented MRI Imaging Technician Assistant to join our team. Our organization is a multi-disciplinary, multi-specialty medical clinic setting. This role involves supporting MRI imaging procedures, performing clerical tasks, and managing front desk duties. Key Responsibilities:
MRI Imaging Support:

Assist patients in preparing for MRI procedures, including providing gowns and explaining the process.

Ensure patients' comfort and safety before, during, and after the procedure.

Assist MRI technicians with equipment setup and maintenance.

Ensure MRI rooms are clean, stocked with necessary supplies, and ready for use.

Help with positioning patients on the MRI table as directed by the MRI technician.
Clerical Duties:

Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring all information is entered correctly into the clinic's electronic health record (EHR) system.

Handle the filing and retrieval of patient records as needed.

Scheduling and Coordination:

Schedule MRI appointments, coordinating with patients and clinical staff to ensure optimal scheduling.

Confirm patient appointments and handle rescheduling or cancellations as necessary.
Front Desk Duties:

Greet patients warmly and check them in upon arrival.

Answer phone calls, direct inquiries to appropriate staff, and provide information about clinic services and MRI procedures.

Verify and update patient information, including insurance details, at check-in.

Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Some college coursework or relevant training in medical or administrative fields preferred.

Previous experience in a medical office or clinical setting preferred.
