Summary:
This position is responsible for Thin Film Depositions and Ion Beam Etching. This person will work in a class 1000 manufacturing cleanroom facility, will wear a cleanroom (bunny) suit, including hood, gloves, safety glasses, shoe covers and mask. This person may be exposed to chemicals during ceramic cleaning on some work days. This person will enter data on a computer.
Duties:
- Remove ceramic stock from inventory and log data.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Clean ceramic stock for metal deposition.
- Use of acids and organic chemicals required
- Monitor and support daily thin film deposition processes.
- Calibrate and test monitors for systems.
- Knowledge of surface analytical characterization including XRF
- Run Ion Milling Etching System.
- Loading/unloading and running processes
- Provide data from systems into process travelers
- Must follow all safety policies and procedures as required.
- Any other duties deem necessary by management.
