Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various cases and legal issues
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in court proceedings and hearings
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in legal matters
- Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
- Assist with trial preparation, including witness preparation and document organization
-Candidate should have five years of experience working in insurance defense litigation, in State and Federal courts.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar association
- Strong knowledge of legal principles and procedures
- Experience in litigation, including courtroom experience
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Proficiency in legal research tools such as Westlaw and Lexis-Nexis
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
