We are currently seeking a dedicated Lead Line Cook to join our team and help us uphold our commitment to quality and taste.
Position Overview: As the Lead Line Cook with BOH Responsibilities, you will be a pivotal member of our culinary team. In addition to expertly preparing our signature dishes, you will take on leadership responsibilities in the back of the house, ensuring a smooth kitchen operation. Your culinary expertise, leadership skills, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the success of our restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and portion ingredients, following recipes and maintaining the highest food safety standards.
- Cooking: Execute various cooking techniques, such as grilling, sautéing, and baking, to create consistently delicious dishes.
- Leadership: Lead and supervise the kitchen team during shifts, ensuring a productive and harmonious working environment.
- Quality Control: Maintain food quality by conducting regular checks and ensuring that all dishes meet our standards.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies, and tracking food costs.
- Training and Development: Train and mentor kitchen staff, fostering their growth and ensuring consistency in food preparation.
- Cleaning and Sanitizing: Oversee kitchen cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Food Handlers License required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Lead Line Cook or Sous Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment is required.
- Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Passion for healthy, farm-to-table dining and a dedication to delivering exceptional food quality.
