Position: Director of Finance
Reports to: CEO
Location: Reedsville, PA (near State College, PA)
Peachey Hardwood Flooring, LLC is three-time national award-winning manufacturer of some of the highest quality, custom hardwood flooring, molding and stair parts in the country. We are seeking a Director of Finance for our Central Pennsylvania location.
Job Summary
The Director of Finance will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team of a private equity backed, medium-sized industrial hardwood flooring manufacturer. The position will lead the company’s day-to-day financial activities and manage its accounting and financial reporting functions. In addition, the Director of Finance will be expected to lead the financial planning and analysis processes as well as support the overall operations of the organization with financial analysis, data interpretation and recommendations to optimize performance. Responsibilities
- Oversee all daily general accounting practices and procedures
- Prepare general ledger postings including month and year end closings
- Oversee payroll reporting, 401k funding, and employee benefit administration
- Prepare monthly financial statements including calculation of financial covenants, borrowing base, and MD&A
- Oversee budget preparation and forecasting
- Prepare quarterly presentations to the Board
- Manage banking relationships including reconciliations, covenant compliance and reporting
- Prepare work papers for accountants and oversee tax preparation and annual audits
- Prepare and analyze capex project justifications with the leadership team
Requirements
- Progressive work experience, preferably 10 years or more, in finance and/or accounting functions with prior experience working in a leveraged environment a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required with a preference for an MBA and/or CPA
- Proven analytical skills with a strategic outlook
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively distill relevant information to the management, board members, lenders, and other external stakeholders
- High level of personal motivation with a willingness to take a hands-on approach in a collaborative culture
Compensation
- Salary and bonus depending on experience, qualifications and performance, plus full company benefits package

Pay: $140,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
