Job Qualifications- Education and Experience-
Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a safety related field or equivalent combination of experience and certification.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in safety or related technical discipline with 3+ years in a people leadership capacity

OSHA Certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations as well as other regulatory standards including, but not limited to, ANSI, NIOSH, NFPA, NEC, and DOT

Ability to analyze accident data, industrial hygiene sampling results, new processes, and machinery for potential safety concerns and conduct job hazard and job safety analyses.

Strong leadership and time management skills; prior experience managing and leading people is preferred

Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication skills

Ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects

Proven track record of driving cultural change in Safety

Works independently on a daily basis providing quality reports, analysis and policies in Workers Compensation and Safety

Daily interaction with managers, staff, and corporate. Periodic interaction with local emergency response groups and regulatory agencies

Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
-
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from regulatory agencies, or members of the business community
-
Ability to effectively present information to top management
-
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference.

Able to maintain confidentiality in matters involving security and/or personnel issues.

Experience with OSHA regulations and inspections

Experience in Worker's Compensation case management.

Ability to create new and unique ideas in an entrepreneurial spirit

Proficient using standard Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
Physical Requirements:

Stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time.

The candidate must be able to perform this job safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and good manufacturing practices, without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
The anticipated salary range for this position is $97,500 - $146,300 depending on location, knowledge, skills, education and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, we offer comprehensive and competitive benefits to Associates (and their families) such as medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability. Eligible Associates are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Associates will accrue paid time off up to 200 hours per year (inclusive of PTO, floating holidays, and paid holidays). Paid sick time up to 80 hours per year unless otherwise required by law.
