Production Support

We are looking for PRODUCTION SUPPORT to become part of our team! The Production Support position will assist the Operations Manager in the day-to-day operations and production.
Your Responsibilities:
- Field questions from customers and Customer Service regarding order status, projected delivery dates, and serve as the main customer interface to assist the Operations Manager.
- Stays in constant communication with our Customer Service department and maintain information to reflect job status, while ensuring information is current & accurate.
- This position would include, but is not limited to, having sound knowledge of Safety and Department Rules and Policies.
- Must be able to provide clear and direct communication of expectations and gives feedback while reviewing emails and phone calls on behalf of the Operations Manager.
- Proven ability to organize and utilize time management and prioritization skills to effectively manage multiple tasks in an environment with competing demands.
- Communicate schedule changes to all relevant departments.
- Possess excellent problem-solving capabilities and professional conduct towards all customer/clients.
- Must be willing to work in a fast-paced, schedule-driven environment
- Communicating regularly with upper management regarding problems or issues impacting production.
- Evaluating resources and KPIs to ensure continued production and minimal downtime
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must have a working knowledge of or the ability to learn manufacturing methods, techniques, and production scheduling and shop operations. Proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Ability to quickly solve problems as they arise.
- The ability to understand and follow instructions and the ability to concentrate is required
- Excellent written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to get along with others and be part of a team.
- Regular attendance.
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
