The Associate Manager oversees the operation of a DriveSafe location. The ideal candidate has experience leading a team to achieve high standards and goals, is comfortable with customer service and sales, and can multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze operational key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement tactical measures to improve performance.
- Manage and coordinate scheduling of instructors, students, and company vehicles to maximize cost efficiency, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
- Oversee state compliance standards and requirements for the assigned location by working closely with the company’s internal audit team and communicating and training employees on state requirements.
- Manage the customer service and sales functions by supervising customer service team members if applicable, addressing escalations, and servicing customers directly over the phone and in person when needed.
- Lead and manage a team by overseeing daily operations, implementing performance management practices, offering coaching and training, managing employee relations, facilitating recognition programs, reviewing payroll, and fostering a positive team environment.
- Plan and develop systems and procedures to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the DriveSafe Center.
- Analyze and document business processes and problems. Develop solutions to enhance efficiencies.
- Drive market growth through proactive sales initiatives and brand-building activities, while fostering relationships and leveraging industry knowledge to maximize sales opportunities

Qualifications
- Over 21 years of age
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in people management including talent management, scheduling, payroll, and employee relations.
- 2+ years of experience in department/location management, ideally as the primary supervisor overseeing a brick and mortal business unit.
- 1+ years of experience with Colorado drivers’ education preferred
- Business acumen including knowledge or experience with KPIs and basic financial reporting
- Customer service orientation with both internal and external stakeholders
- Orientation to innovative problem-solving
- Comfortable with direct sales of services when necessary
- Responsible, dependable, and detail oriented
- Self-disciplined and able to multi-task/prioritize
- Comfortable with digital technologies
- Safe driving history - a Motor Vehicle Record check will be reviewed
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
