Career Exploration Coordinator

CCF is seeking a Career Exploration Coordinator to plan, implement, and manage the Real Skills for Youth (RSFY) Program for middle school students and other areas of organizational work and leadership essential to the effective operation of the RSFY program.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate career exploration and work readiness after school programs for students in grades 6-8 including future career and education plans as well as work readiness skills to prepare 14-year old students to get summer jobs.
- Arrange guest speakers from various high demand industries for after school, vacation week and summer programs.
- Set up field trips to company sites as well as college visits.
- Plan and implement a Career Fair for middle school students with existing and new partner companies as well as school administration and staff.
- Develop and administer program initiatives and policies in accordance with state requirements.
- Work closely with middle school 21stCCLC Site Coordinator and Center for Financial Success staff on supporting the afterschool programs, and other related school/community events.
- Implement and monitor quality improvement systems for accountability.
- Maintain smooth program logistics including classroom set-up, student attendance, program spending, scheduling with school and providers, transportation (as needed), and database management.
- Collect data necessary for Real Skills for Youth reporting.
Requirements:
- BA or AA in Education, Career Counseling, Youth Development, or related work experience.
- 2+ years of experience working with middle school students and afterschool programming.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Bilingual/Spanish a plus.
