The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the management and oversight of customer facing sales and outbound logistics, including counter sales, will call, curbside, parts on site, and reception areas. Duties include managing personnel and ensuring proper staffing levels, oversight on outbound parts deliveries and ensuring a high level of accuracy and customer service.

Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee and ensure outbound parts operation is smooth and efficient
- Maintain personnel work schedules to ensure adequate service at all times
- Conduct annual evaluations on staff and maintain training for all employees
- Resolve any and all complaints or problems that may arise
- Implement procedures for the most efficient handling of daily backorders and parts pulled from inventory for customer pick up
- Ensure warehouse and assigned department areas are displayed and organized in a neat and orderly appearance at all times
- Manage and implement processes to ensure that Curbside, parts express, drop box locations, and customers picking up parts orders are handled with urgency to reduce downtime
- Manage customer notifications on parts orders when they are ready to be picked up
- Manage and improve processes to ensure Cat Initiatives and requirements are met
- Manage parts orders that have not been picked up or delivered in a timely manner to ensure returns are processed on time
- Grow awareness and utilization of Curbside Pickup service as well as drop box locations
- Maintain good working relationships and cooperate with other department areas, vendors, and customers
- Ensure that Mustang’s corporate values of Work Honest, Work Together, Work Smart, and Work Safe are strictly adhered to
- Maintain and control direct expenses
- Ensure that safety is a top priority at all mini-branch locations and with delivery drivers
- General awareness and recommendations for improvement on safety hazards, and expediting issues that may arise to Mustang’s EHS Program Manager
Customer Service Manager Position Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Sales, or technical field
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of supervisory/managerial experience
- Detail-oriented, organized, and punctual
- Must exhibit effective written and verbal communication skills
- Promote and participate in a team environment
- Strong customer service experience
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office Applications and database systems
- Ability to work confidently in a high-pressure environment
- On-call support flexibility
Preferred Experience:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Possess a minimum of 5 years of parts/warehouse experience
