Hilton Garden Inn San Mateo is seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager. Located in San Mateo, our hotel is dedicated to providing exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests.
Position Overview:
The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee F&B operations, including revenues, expenses, personnel, guest satisfaction, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in F&B management with at least 2 years of experience and proficiency in Micros is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily F&B operations, ensuring adherence to Hilton brand standards.
- Monitor budgets, maximize revenues, and minimize expenses.
- Lead and inspire the F&B team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Maintain high guest satisfaction scores and quality assurance standards.
- Utilize Micros and other technology to enhance efficiency and guest experience.
- Execute financial controls, including food and liquor costs, inventory controls, and ordering.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in F&B, culinary, or related area, with at least 1 year as a supervisor or manager.
- Proficiency in Micros is a plus.
- Financial acumen to achieve department profit.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Flexibility to work nontraditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
