Position Overview:
A financial education professional is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating financial literacy programs and services to help students, staff, and community members improve their personal finance knowledge and skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop accessible, easy-to-understand content on college planning, retirement, social security program, and tax saving strategies.
- Delivering effective financial literacy instruction and education to a variety of audiences, such as students, adults, and organizations.
- Make financial topics accessible and easy to understand for individuals of all backgrounds.
- Providing guidance and resources to help learners apply financial skills to their real-life situations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and share relevant information with the families and communities you serve.
Qualifications:
- The ability to work with schools, community groups, businesses, and other stakeholders is important.
- Proven ability to convey complex financial concepts in clear, relatable language.
- Possession of relevant financial planning certifications or licenses.
- Experience in conducting educational sessions is a strong asset.
- A genuine passion for empowering families through financial education.
