Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Junior Stem Cell Laboratory Scientist to join our dynamic
research team. The successful candidate will play a key role in advancing stem cell biology technologies
translating into therapeutic applications. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious scientist to
contribute to cutting-edge research and make a meaningful impact on human health.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and conduct experiments to explore the properties and behavior of stem cells, including
pluripotent and multipotent stem cells.
Develop and optimize protocols for the isolation, culture, and differentiation of stem cells.
Investigate the molecular mechanisms underlying stem cell self-renewal, differentiation, and
reprogramming.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate the therapeutic potential of stem cell-based
approaches for various diseases and conditions.
Analyze and interpret experimental data using advanced techniques and bioinformatics tools.
Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature and technological advancements in stem cell
research.
Contribute to the preparation of research proposals, publications, and presentations for internal
and external stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and analyses in accordance with
regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
Master’s or equivalent degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
Strong background in Cell & Gene Therapy translational sciences.
Proven expertise in stem cell culture techniques, including mesenchymal, hematopoietic and
umbilical cord stem cells.
Knowledge of embryonic stem cells (ESCs) and induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) is desired.
Hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques such as PCR, qRT-PCR, Western
blotting, immunostaining and FACS analysis is required
Strong background in cell culturing signaling, growth and differentiation pathways. Cell Culture
image analysis
Proficiency in data analysis using statistical software and bioinformatics tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a
collaborative team environment.
Demonstrated track record of scientific productivity, including publications in peer-reviewed
journals and conference presentations.
Prior experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry is preferred but not required.
