The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope. They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Forge and sustain professional relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Champion adherence to company safety policies and initiatives.
- Oversee the approval process for shop drawings and submittals, ensuring timely coordination and compliance.
- Develop schedules of values and secure billing approvals from architects and owners.
- Collaborate closely with the onsite Superintendent to ensure all contract terms are met.
- Manage the S&P Quality Control Program to uphold project standards.
- Prepare and adjust the project budget, including handling change orders and managing budget revisions.
- Maintain and oversee all necessary project reports and logs.
- Organize and lead project meetings and conduct final walk-throughs.
- Direct and manage staff by setting clear performance expectations, providing regular feedback, identifying training needs, and facilitating on-the-job training.
- Ensure regular attendance at the worksite.
- Fulfill other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. in Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
- Commercial experience
- 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager on projects over $20 million.
