One of our great partners in Bethesda, MD is looking for their next Purchasing Coordinator!
This position works Monday-Friday during normal business hours with a split in-office/work-from-home schedule!
What You'll Do
- Assist in the procurement process: purchase orders and contract management,
- Process rebates and trade agreement efforts
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, preparing and distributing bid requests
- Conduct takeoffs to determine material requirements for projects
- Maintain highly accurate documentation and reporting
- Collaborate effectively with project leaders, manager, administrative professionals, and all team members
What You Bring
- Experience in construction or related industry
- 2 years in Purchasing strongly preferred: familiarity with procurement processes, materials, takeoffs, and/or contract management required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
