Triumph Counseling Group, LLC is looking for an experienced counselor to join our group therapy practice in a satellite office that is located school property within a suburban school district in Montgomery county. Those with a degree in school counseling psychology are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- On-site counseling support to fulfill duties akin to those of school counselors, as outlined below:
- will collaborate with school administration, MTSS, and PBIS teams to provide a comprehensive school counseling program to students on site
- will utilize evidence based practices to provide academic support and guidance
- will be available to provide social and emotional support to students identified or self-identified to need assistance in the school setting
- will offer a safe and confidential environment for students to discuss personal issues, emotional challenges, and mental health concerns.
- will be available on site to provide crisis intervention in the form of homicidal and suicidal risk assessment.
- Educate student body on stress and trauma coping mechanisms
- Provide individuals with the resources they need to reach personal goals.
- Coordinate with social and medical agencies, healthcare providers and community outreach programs to provide clients with needed services.
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Must have:
- Masters degree in Counseling Psychology or Social Work
- Experience working in the field of psychology
- Experience working with teens, pre-teens, and adolescents.
- Desire to become a fully licensed counselor or social worker
2. Must have experience counseling culturally diverse populations

Pay: $800.00 - $900.00 per week
