PAYMENT POSTER/R/REFUND COORDINATOR
Motivated and challenging specialty physician Management Company located at Preston and Campbell is seeking highly qualified applicants experienced & knowledgeable in specialty reimbursement.
We are currently seeking individuals with detailed expertise in posting both Insurance and Patient payments. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:
1. Ability to read explanation of medical benefits and post payments and adjustments accordingly
2. Notify management when reimbursement does not meet fee schedule
3. Post patient payments to accounts Candidates should have prior experience & familiarity with full-scope medical billing, including but not limited to: data entry, demographics, charges, and payments.
4. Should be able to review posting and ensure that it matches the EOB.
5. Must be able to balance what is posted to what hit the bank
Should have great customer service skills & abilities to communicate effectively with patients, doctor's offices, and insurance companies as well. The right employee will be dependable (good attendance is imperative), reliable & demonstrate accuracy, resourcefulness and thoroughness in performing work assignments. Should also be able to exhibit the ability to work independently and to identify, analyze & solve problems. Pluses: Software experience with Advanced MD, AthenaPractice, ModMed and, NextGen, Bilingual , experience with worker's comp billing and follow-up and Previous exposure to multiple physician specialties.
