Job Description & Responsibilities: Working with clients with disabilities referred to us from Behavioral Health clinics, an Employee Specialist II assists our clients to reach their vocational goal through a variety of programs that ultimately results in employment. You will also play an invaluable role in serving, coaching, and learning from a diverse population of individuals with disabilities in various employment settings. This includes observing and assisting individuals/clients with disabilities while they work thereby helping them to become self-sufficient in their employment. Clients’ ages range from youth soon to graduate high school to all ages of adults.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Meet individually with all clients assigned on caseload for employment search assistance and training
· Assist with job readiness skills i.e., resume writing, master application, interview skills and applying for positions
· Identify employment opportunities and employer contacts
· Assist with securing interviews for clients based on client's goal
· Assist clients to maintain employment
· Meet clients at their place of work or training internship out in the community
· Daily driving between clients
· Assist clients in identifying their professional strengths and challenges
· Provide and share supportive and constructive feedback to clients
· Demonstrate and model professional and ethical employment behaviors
· Write clear, objective, and detailed case notes documenting your coaching, feedback, and client responses, meet documentation deadlines
· Maintain frequent and open communication with management and fellow team members to ensure the highest quality of customer service possible
Requirements:
High School Diploma/GED required
Two years’ experience working with individuals with disabilities required
Professional work ethic and business casual dress
Flexibility with schedule to meet client's needs at different locations
Problem solving/analytical skills
Strong time management skills
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Internet a must
Reliable access to computer and internet
Good written and oral communication skills
Reliable transportation
Must pass background check and be able to obtain a fingerprint clearance card
Current driver’s license, insurance, and registration
Must have cell phone

Salary: $20.00 per hour with paid travel time between clients and paid admin time while completing documentation.
