Summary
The primary function of this position is the new item setup and existing item
maintenance for products within the SHP assortment. This includes but is
not limited to, updating SKU level details, label facts information following
FDA guidelines and digital asset management within our internal systems
and databases.
Essential Responsibilities
1. Review National Brand error reports from customer care and determine
necessity for updates, initiating a change form within the JIRA workflow.
2. Review requests for updates from our National Brand partners, initiating
brand audit JIRAs and prioritizing accordingly.
3. Retrieve monthly National Brand product update reports from information
sharing platforms for change review.
4. New Item Setup
- National Brand – item number assignment and SKU level details entry
within internal systems. Create label facts with proper FDA regulations
format through oXygen/XML Author program (ingredients, suggested use,
warnings). Format and save images within the SHP digital asset
management library.
- Swanson Brand – including but not limited to, finished product, bulk,
labels, raw materials and components. Item number assignment and SKU
level details entry within internal systems.
5. Existing Item Maintenance
- National Brand – Create all JIRAs for item updates received through error
reports or brand audits providing clear direction of change. Update SKU
level details within internal systems and databases including label facts
and digital assets.
- Swanson Brand – As assignee within JIRA workflow update SKU level
details impacted by change within the internal systems, creating new
bulks and labels for versions as directed by change.
6. Provide notifications to other areas of the organization relating to new
product announcements and changes to existing items.
7. Administrate National Brand product change processes to ensure
workflow efficiency.
8. Maintain accurate tracking records relating to creation or changes for
all products within the SHP assortment.
9. Enter and maintain SHP registered UPC information within the GS1
datahub.
10. Manage product hierarchy category IDs within internal systems for the
product assortment.
11. Maintain accurate SOPs and training materials.
12. Assist with special projects as needed.
13. Perform Merchandising Operations tasks to support other channels
within the organization.
14. Maintain a positive and professional work relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to
teamwork and exemplary customer service.
15. Conducts self in the presence of customers and community so as to
present a professional image of SHP.
