Reporting to the owner, the bookkeeper will be responsible for tracking and managing financial data and overseeing accounting practices. If you have 3 plus years of bookkeeping experience, as well as proficiency working with Data Pro accounting systems, and the ability to multitask, you may qualify for this position. Essential Job Responsibilities
Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts, posting transactions, establishing chart of accounts, defining bookkeeping policies and procedures.
Balances general ledger, reconciles entries, maintains historical records, and summarizes account information.
Manages/Performs all aspects of the weekly payroll, as well as AR/AP, and all collections activities.
Prepares thorough year end Data Pro files to Company Accounting Firm.
Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
Manages all HR functions inclusive but not limited to new hire and termination process.
Contributes to team effort by holding themselves accountable to achieve desired results.
Maintain good working relationships with all company employees.
Essential Requirements
Three (3) – Seven (7) years of extensive bookkeeping experience
Must possess experience and proficiency in Data Pro Accounting Software.
Experienced in payroll taxes, AP/AR, billing, collections, financial analysis, reconciliations, and other administrative and clerical tasks.
Working knowledge of proposals, contracts, and change orders.
Thoroughness, attention to detail, ability to handle complexity, while adhering to strict confidentiality.
Experience in working with multiple legal entities under different legal umbrellas.
Strong communication skills, team player, can do attitude, position, helpful, energetic.
Strong Character with enthusiasm, and a sense of urgency.
Solid work history showing progressive reliability and conscientiousness.
