Title: Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Maintenance Supervisor
GENERAL SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position is an integral part in the management of all aspects of the assigned job responsibilities and functions in relationship to Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and People, to support the overall company goals and objectives.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Compliance to the Quality Management System, Environmental Management System, Safety Practices, and Management Operating System documents relative to job duties.
- Comply with company rules and practices in compliance with the Employee Handbook
- Comply with 5S housekeeping practices and maintain a clean, organized work environment
- Support and participate in Lean Enterprise/Manufacturing initiatives throughout the organization including but not limited to Kaizen, Kan Ban, OEE, SMED, 6 Sigma, etc.
- Support specific objectives and targets that support departmental company goals and objectives.
- Responsible for meeting or exceeding requirements for cost targets within your functional areas, including but not be limited to: meet/exceed hourly production rates, reducing scrap, consistent conformance to customer requirements, maintaining production tooling, meet/exceed customer delivery schedules, etc.
- Responsible for promoting and demonstrating a team philosophy in accomplishing the division’s goals and objectives
- Be instrumental in achieving divisional safety goals by working in a safe manner and reporting hazardous conditions to management through the proper channels
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
- Initiate purchase requisitions as required and submit to purchasing or manager for approval.
- Become involved with any machine problems such as layout, tooling, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc. and communicate to supervisor or manager as needed.
- Troubleshoot all assembly or system problems that arise.
- Responsible for assisting and guiding other maintenance and production employees.
- Work closely with engineering and purchasing on all required documentation.
- Work with manufacturing engineers to improve processes.
- Design and set up hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting equipment.
- Ability to weld and use tool room equipment.
- Able to work with little/no supervision.
- Ensure that all repairs are done promptly and according to the pre-established guidelines.
- Continually monitor the safety of all equipment to ensure that all safety devices are operational.
- Continually monitor the performance of all equipment to ensure that all OEM performance specifications are met or exceeded.
- Monitor all programmable logic changes to ensure proper equipment function and the safety of the change(s) made.
- Follow the preventative maintenance schedule and document accordingly.
- Ability to stand 8 – 10 hours, twist, turn, and bend to the floor.
- Ability to exert 20 – 50 pounds of force occasionally and ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Perform other duties as required.

High School diploma /GED or prior work experience
Computer Experience
Blueprint reading
CNC repair experience
CNC electrical experience
2+ years experience

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
