The Accounting Clerk is responsible for carrying out administrative functions to support our accounting team. The position will be working in our office in Matthews , NC.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
· 1 years accounting experience
· Good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
· Familiar with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist Payroll Manager with employee expense reports, vehicle allowance, health insurance database
· Other payroll-related responsibilities as needed.
· Assist the accounting department with various tasks as needed
· Working with Subcontractors to obtain W-9, certificates of insurance and entering accounts payable invoices and related information into accounting software.
