Role & Responsibilities
As a Front of House Associate, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service in line with our Spencer's Spa Standards of Excellence. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering customer service in line with our Spencer's Spa Standards of Excellence.
- Maintaining a positive attitude and taking initiative to exceed guest expectations.
- Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of Spencer's Spa products and brand.
- Monitoring visitor access and maintaining security awareness to ensure the safety of guests and staff.
- Greeting, assisting, accommodating, and escorting all guests and visitors with courtesy and warmth.
- Assisting with various projects as needed, including sales, marketing, events, and administrative tasks.
- Serving as a visible and active goodwill ambassador, engaging with prospective members and promoting Spencer's Spa offerings.
- Proactively resolving guest issues and concerns to ensure a positive and seamless experience.
- Utilizing the Daily Activity Report to track and communicate important information to the team.
- Proficiency in using the MindBody computer system for scheduling appointments, managing customer information, and processing transactions.
- Proficiency in promoting and upselling Spencer's Spa products and services, including memberships, to enhance guest experiences and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 6 months of customer service or related experience, preferably in a hospitality or spa setting.
- A high school diploma/GED required. An Associate Degree or higher is preferred.
- A positive, can-do attitude with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- A community-minded approach and a passion for health and wellness.
- Strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- The physical ability to perform the requirements of the position, including standing for extended periods.
