We are actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Transactional Attorney to join our growing legal team. As a Junior Transactional Attorney, you will be involved in a wide range of legal matters, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to our commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Immigration Services: Managing passports, work authorizations, and green card extensions.
- Direct communication with USCIS and NVC.
- Nonprofit Legal Services: Assisting in the formation, amendment, and termination of nonprofits.
- Handling IRS forms and applications.
- Real Estate Transactions: Drafting deeds and leases for residential properties.
- Estate Planning: Drafting wills and family trusts.
- Records Retrieval: Obtaining copies of personal records/documents (citations, criminal records, divorce decrees, etc.) from courts.
- Employment Law: Drafting and reviewing employment and remote contractor agreements.
- Confidentiality and Non-Disclosure Agreements: Drafting and negotiating confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.
- Business Law:Assisting in the formation and dissolution of partnerships, corporations, and LLCs.
- Drafting operating agreements, bylaws, and partnership agreements.
- Handling share/membership interest purchases and assignments.
- Commercial Real Estate:Drafting deeds and leases for commercial and industrial properties.
- Intellectual Property:Assisting in trademark and copyright matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the Ohio state bar.
- Strong interest in transactional law, with a focus on the listed practice areas.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
