Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced System Analyst III to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of enterprise logic systems programming, a broad understanding of organizational business data technology applications, and a strong background in software systems and technologies. This role involves analyzing user requirements, automating business processes, and optimizing existing information systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve information systems and architectures.
- Possess in-depth knowledge of enterprise logic systems programming and components.
- Provide support in areas such as analysis, design, development, implementation, and maintenance of software systems and technologies.
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate business processes or optimize existing information systems.
- Design, evaluate, and plan business architectures and information technology systems to optimize the enterprise IT architecture.
- Provide technical assistance on existing and new technology in platform operations, network applications, and security.
- Support customers in the development, implementation, and maintenance of strategy, doctrine, standards, policies, and procedures.
- Apply comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments.
- Plan and lead major work assignments, evaluate performance results, and recommend significant changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
- Function as a technical expert across multiple project assignments and may supervise others.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in system analysis, design, and implementation.
- Proven experience with system integration and project management.
- Strong background in database management and SQL.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in system analysis tools and methodologies.
- Hold a Top Secret clearance with current eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and must maintain the level of security required for the life of the contract.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Analyst (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
