Position title: Senior Operations Manager
Department: Operations Manager: Director of Operations
Pay Grade: 37 FLSA: Exempt
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Operations or Engineering or related, equivalent experience
- Advanced degree or certification in field preferred
Previous Work Experience:
- 7 or more years of experience of plant/operations supervision in a manufacturing operation.
- Must be able to operate a computer and use various software programs including Word and Excel
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to frequently move about inside the manufacturing environment and access machinery.
- Must be able to operate a computer 50% of the time or more.
- Must be able to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information.
Essential Functions:
- Using process, quality and production improvement methodologies, manage the implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods for new and existing products and technologies at site location.
- Work with managers and team leaders throughout the site to coordinate activities and efforts of production to meet daily requirements and plan daily production activities for all shifts.
- Provide overall leadership, direction and motivation to all team members. Handle routine personnel issues including training, coaching, and counseling.
- Optimize the culture of safety first throughout the site’s operations.
- Work closely with quality personnel to review and implement standard operating procedures, monitor product consistency and adherence to procedures while tracking yield rates to determine trends and areas of improvement.
- Communicate and explain new directives, policies, or procedures to site personnel.
- Support growth and vision of business as directed by upper management.
- Other related duties as assigned.

- Advanced knowledge of supply chain processes and procedures including manufacturing planning, demand, and replenishment processes.
- Highly proficient in managerial skills, including: interviewing, selecting, hiring, promoting, disciplining, and terminating employees.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $105,700.00 - $159,459.00 per year
