AHF Ohio dba Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing is a Skilled Nursing Facility located in the heart of Dublin.
Sanctuary at Tuttle Crossing is seeking a Business Office Manager.
The Business Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all functions of the Business Office, including A/R, AP, resident financial information, medical records requests and the accurate reporting of the same to corporate personnel.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and managing business office functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and customer service
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of billings to appropriate reimbursement agencies and private payers.
- Set up and maintain financial files for residents: billing, admission papers, state and Medicare reimbursement documents; coordinate and collect accounts receivable and past-due accounts
- Review payment policies and procedures with new admissions and their responsible parties
- Complete receipt records, post deposits, run cash receipts batch listings, research/prepare/post adjustments, call in deposits and maintain facility census.
- Administer and reconcile resident trust accounts and petty cash
- Answer family inquiries regarding billing for services
- Develop and maintain relationships with residents, visitors, and the corporate office.
Requirements:
- Two years of bookkeeping experience within a healthcare setting, including, but not limited to: managing accounts receivable
- Medicaid experience
- Software proficiency such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families,and the general public Must have knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to multi-task.
