Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Front Desk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in front desk operations, preferably in a hotel or resort setting, as well as a passion for hospitality and creating outstanding guest experiences. As a Front Desk Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Administer front desk functions and supervise staff on a daily basis
- Responsible for guest and employee satisfaction
- Communicates effectively with guests and employees
- Effectively resolve issue issues and complaints
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with all departments
- Monitor staffing levels to meet cover business demands
- Manage staff performance issues in compliance with company policies and procedures
- Recruit, manage, train and develop the Front Office team
- Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation
- Act in accordance with policies and procedures when working with front of house equipment and property management systems
- Perform Manager on Duty shifts
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed
- Coordinate projects and tasks as assigned
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly
Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role is required
- Experience in a resort or hotel front desk supervisory role is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Physical Requirements:
- Either stand, walk, and sit for more than 75% of the work day.
- Occasionally lifting/pushing/pulling up to 30 pounds.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $54,000.00 per year
